Cool find! I've seen a few of these pop-up over the years. Not in this condition however. Would seem reasonable to me that G.Monnin branded 844's would be out there, especially in the same design as the Heuer 844 model from 1979. Have seen other Monnin 24/hr dials as well under different brands. Congrats on adding this rare bird to your collection!
