Hi all, sorry I've not been on here for a while, life gets in the way!
As much as I love my vintage Heuers, my daily wearer has always been my trusted SuperPro. I know some love it, and some hate it.. but that's the way it is!
I've recently had it serviced, and then checked over by my friend Abel, but recently the crown has become harder and harder to screw down - it used to be 3-4 turns, then gradually less, now it won't screw down at all. I'm guessing it's a stripped tube, even though I've been very very careful with it. (trust me, I know they can be difficult, so I've always treated it with kid gloves)
I also know that many don't want to work on the SP because of the monocoque case.
Can anyone recommend someone who could sort this issue out for me?
Thanks!
Stewart
