Tend to agree - the main tell to me is the hands - In my experience, real orange Heuer divers ref 980.005 (Auto) or 980.007 (Quartz) used black, not steel.
Caseback stamped 844 only and inside marked G Monnin is right for early cases, I have seen a couple without the 980.005 stamping but will bow to greater knowledge on here such as David Blackie Black who is MR HEUER DIVER
I don't think that case is from an O&W K2 - it is just overpolished to my eyes
