looks like I was mistaken- I was comparing it to my dial, but it looks like there is several variations of the later dial with long hash marks and with short hash marks.

: yes, that is completely wrong...but look at the seconds sub
: register...the hash marks are too long and the sub dial hands
: are all too long.
