I recently bought a Hueer Auavia and two Heuer Rally Timers from a local gentleman that had run Rallyes in the later 60's. The two Dash Timers are and Auto Rallye and a Sebring. My question is on the Auto Rallye. My understanding is that this model was basic, but the unit that I have is 3 Button with Split Seconds. It is marked Heuer Leonidis Sa on the back. This particular dial was purchased with the Sebring and is of the exact same configuration, the only difference between the two is the Dail mraking.
It has never been apart or modifed according to the original owner. Was this Auto Ralle a factory assembly error or a special order?
Thanks, Jim
PS: I do not have a place to post photos on line but would be glad to email them to anyone that could help defining why the Auto Rallye has a Split Seconds configuration.
