Could you make the bezel smaller to? Than we have a winner!
: I'm in the same boat as so many Heuer lovers re: the 2017 Autavia.
: I likely won't be able to ever purchase a vintage Autavia from
: the 60s, so the modern version interests me greatly.
: Since Tag Heuer's design choices for the 2017 update seem to stir
: up mixed feelings, I thought I'd take a crack at tweaking one of
: the more simpler and easier changes that could / should
: occur...smaller numerals in the bezel insert.
: No other changes aside from a reduction of the numerals down about
: 25% in the image below. I hope you find it useful for comparison
: / discussions. I kept the case size, date window, 2.5 min
: markers situation, and fuaxtina in tact to show how a simple
: bezel tweak can make a significant change even if everything
: else remained the same.
: I think just as most of you suspected, smaller numbers have better
: visual balance even with the chunkier case profile.
: About me: I'm a Creative Director in marketing here in LA, and I
: found myself rarely producing personal projects for fun. Fell in
: love vintage Heuer a couple years back and decided to use my
: design skills to have fun with Tag Heuer and vintage Heuer
: concepts as a creative outlet and hobby (good for insomnia) as I
: try and collect some fun pieces for the wrist as well (good for
: real life). Here's my Instagram handle if you're interested in
: seeing what I whip up in the future -->

: Much love to you all for such a cool forum and community. I visit
: OTD like 3 times a day and love it.
