Is this acceptable behavior? [Part 2- Rindt Chrono Hand]

Is this hand correct? [Part 2- Rindt Chrono Sweep Hand]

Next up a “new old stock” Chrono Sweep for a “Vintage original Heuer Autavia 2446 3rd Execution”

This is what I received:

Is this correct for a 3rd Execution Autavia "Rindt"
Would you consider this "new old stock"

After research, Ive come to the conclusion the answer to both questions is NO.
1st, the hand is not the correct sweep. Compare it to the correct hand here:

Note the blunt tip on the sellers hand, which is also too short.
This may seem like a trivial detail...but when parts are selling for as much as watches, these details matter.

This single hand cost well north of $500...at this price shouldn't it be accurately described? Shouldn't a buyer expect to get what he paid for?

If we simply repaint a hand, should we describe it as NOS?
If we find a $5 part in a bin and it looks somewhat similar to a very rare and desirable part, do we describe it as authentic in order to make a huge profit?

I would love your opinions on these questions...
