I like re-editions where I can see are at least an interpretation of the original. I do not like pure image copies of the originals. Therefore I like the 2017 Autavias, especially the 85th Anniversary edition. At this one we are even able to count/read the minutes of the minute counter.
Maybe I am wrong, but my understanding of the original Carrera design 55 years ago was an excellent readability (if this in the right English word). Carrera was pure and simpel information about time and timing! The tachymeter found a a very space saving position.
And what are the two photos showing? For me: just bright colours. This is my very personal point of view. But when I here Carrera I would like to see a chronograph that gives me all information more easy, direct and without frills as any other watch.
