IF the watch in returned, I would suggest opening in in front of a USPS official OR at your local police department, while someone tapes the event. The person could say they returned (showing tracking), and if you open an empty box, you have no real proof that you did not receive back. If you open whatever you get back in front of an official, not only will you have on tape, but will also be able to get a notarized letter stating what was witnessed.
