: Hi All,
: I am new here so please bear with me.
: I have a Heuer IFR timer (at least 30 years old) which I would like
: to have repaired as a gift to my son who is a pilot.
: The problem is the minute dial will not move.
: I sent it to Tag Heuer in New Jersey. They could not fix it but
: wanted $150.00 to send it to send it to Switzerland for a repair
: estimate.
: I thought this to be a bit of a crap shoot and had it returned.
: I was wondering if any of you folks might know a reliable watch
: maker, preferably in the New York area, who be able to handle
: this repair.
: Thank you for any help you might be able to supply me with.
: Steve
Hi Steve - if you are willing to ship it to the UK, I can fix the minute window issue and give it a full service for £50 GBP - I have vast amounts of spares for these timers and can fix any issue that it may have.
I've been buying, selling and fixing these timers for years now, have a few posts on here selling Heuer timers and references a-plenty should you need them.
Email me on the attached address if this is of interest to you.
Thanks, Victor
