Trivia: S McQueen's first movie watch endorsement? *LINK* *PIC* Posted By: Jim Nichols Okay, now that I have your attention I have some trivia to share with all you Steve McQueen fans. Being a fan of war movies, I happen to catch "Hell is for Heroes" starring Steve in his first top billing credit movie from 1962. Also Bob Newhart's first movie role) So what. Nice fact, Jim, but what's the link to watches you ask. Well, about 15 minutes into the film when Steve makes his appearence, there are some great shots of him wearing a nice gold watch with bracelet on his right wrist. Not totally appropriate for a war environment I suspect. LOL I tried a screen capture but can't really make it out. A possible Omega maybe? Hmmm... Steve McQueen's earlier films is an area I haven't explored yet... So Chuck, I though maybe you might be interested in the mystery watch ID challenge. Up for it? Sure, I mean it has to be better than "Biker Boyz"... I'll be on the outlook for a copy of the DVD, of course if you want to lend me the DVD and an approximate time in the movie to look for the shot.
