OK, OK . . . so it's not quite Friday, but I just couldn't wait those last 57 minutes, to shoot and share this watch. It arrived a few days ago, from the estate of Colonel John Glenn, and has been on my wrist ever since.
A special series of LeCoultre watches, made for the seven Mercury astronauts and worn during their training. This story will be told in full detail, but for now we can just look at the watch and think of the hero who wore it.
Don't you just love this vintage watch hobby!!
