I am working on a posting covering the original Ronnie Peterson Carrera, and the newly-produced TAG Heuer replica. In the meanwhile, here are a couple of photos.
On the top -- the Heuer Carrera, Reference 1158 (18 karat gold), presented by Jack Heuer to Ronnie Peterson. Notice that the dial seems to be the same as that used in the Carrera Reference 110.515 CH, with the oval registers. The case and bracelet are the customary ones for the Carrera Reference 1158.
On the bottom -- the special series of one watch, produced by TAG Heuer, in 18 karat gold, as a tribute to this historic Carrera. The easiest telltale of the new version is that the chronograph capacity is 30 minutes (rather then the previous 12 hours), and the running seconds is on the right (at three o'clock), while the original model had no register for running seconds.
