Lot number 38 in the upcoming Antiquorum auction is an interesting watch. At serial number 48873, this is the sixth Reference 3646, that we have seen with the "thin lime" hands, within a range of approximately 100 serial numbers. And I believe that most of them have the red chronograph second hand.
We may have discussed this a couple of years ago, in connection the "First Execution Investigation" by Rene -- http://chronocentric.com/forums/heuer/index.cgi?page=1;md=read;id=81126 In any event, further review of the watches that we have seen over the last couple of years seems to confirm that we had this short run of "thin lume" hands, between the All Lume hands and the Fat Lume hands.
