Indeed, this is my absolute favorite modern watch . . . I have one and wear it often . . . one of my "go to" watches.
In my opinion, this is what the Autavia re-issue should have looked like, but of course TAG Heuer did not have the type of smaller, thinner movement that JLC used in the Deep Sea. And the JLC is twice the price of the Autavia.
On the JLC, I really like the tone of the lume . . . dimensions of the case . . . yes, we miss the running seconds hand, but we know that there is some precedent for this omission.
