Autavia Ref 1163 MH / Flat Vs
In Response To: Friday ()

Chronomatic has what we would call a "sharp" V or pointed V [at the bottom of the dial], although it is not very sharp or pointed; it is definitely not flat.

Mark 2 (Heavy Red) clearly has flat V . . . and it would seem to continue into Mark 3. Makes sense, right?

: Congrats again on a stunning early example Jeff. This model answers
: one issue we Heuer enthusiasts have pondered in the past. The
: sequence of flat V & sharp V dials. ( for those not sure of
: what i mean there are different font V’s in the word AUTAVIA
: ). In my mind your example favours the theory that the flat V
: was earlier than the sharp version.

: For me this weekend its this classic 2446C.

: Good weekend everyone - Darren
