As far as I know, the watches were sold for 5,900 USD. Since they were delivered from Singapore, local fees like customs, import VAT and FedEx customs handling fees may apply. So in the end the final price of the watch bought from Revolution might no be that far off the 7777 paid at the eBay auction. Regarding the rarity (and the beauty) of this watch, I actually think the buyer made quite a good catch here!
