Really nice watch; the gold ones are even more rare than the steel, which are also not exactly common.

It’s a shame about the dial, I do think it is worth getting it repainted if you cant find an original dial (will be tricky). At least then you will be able to wear the watch, as it is now, I don’t think it is suitable for wearing in polite society. It would scare the horses.

Normally this series of watches does not have applied markers on the dial, so if I had to guess, I would guess that it is not the original dial repainted. But I am not 100% sure, I will check my files to see what is in the Heuer Dial Archive. To see what the usual dials look like, check the OtD galleries.
