...because of the extra space at the dial needed for GMT yellow hand.
Also the 2558 hour wheel and all the chrono wheels (central seconds one 8000, minute one 8020 and hour one 8601) have longer shafts for same reasons (in fact are very hard to find).
I am 100% sure as I have serviced two Cal 14 GMT so far and compared the two cannon pinions once I dismounted the first one to clean the parts.
