Ferrari GTO Sold Last Night at $48 Million

One of the benchmarks for vintage cars --

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-08-26/rare-ferrari-250-gto-sells-for-record-48-4-million-at-auction

"A red 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO sold for $48.4 million on Saturday in California, the most ever paid for a classic car at auction."

So a watch can be worth $17 million and a car can be worth $48 million. Some would say that the car is more useful, but as a collector I can confirm that it is easier to sneak the watches into the house (and stash them in the sock drawer).
