Pulled the Dan Henry 1963 out of the drawer this morning, and happy to see that -- after resting for six or eight months -- it was within a minute of the correct time.
Enjoying it today . . . yes, these are not for everyone, but kind of neat that someone can make a decent looking, reliable watch, that is a homage to one of our old favorites, for $200 to $300.
Sorry for the ugly light . . . dark skies here today.

: Interesting to see Dan Henry offering inexpensive homages to the
: Carrera, which he calls the "1964 Gran Turismo" --

: .
: While one could say that it is as much a homage to the Omegas or
: Zeniths of the period, the Monte Carlo timer at the bottom right
: does suggest an inspiration from the Heuers.
: So would any of you actually buy and wear one of these? For what
: kind of occasion?

: I have another of his homages (called the "1963"), no
: doubt inspired by Breitling, and must admit that it was fun for
: the first few days, but has spent most of the time since then in
: the drawer.
