I have a couple of the Supersports, and believe that they wind routinely, like any other mechanical stopwatch . . . meaning that there is a "stop" when they are fully wound.
Over the weekend, I'll check and post a report.
Thanks,
Jeff

: I should probably know this after 30 years of collecting Heuer, but
: can anyone explain why the Supersport (7 jewel pin lever?)
: movement just continues to wind without a "stop?"
: I've never owned a mechanical watch that does not stop winding at
: some point.
: thanks!
