I recently acquired a Heuer triple calendar Ref 2547 in a box of old unclaimed watches from a retired jeweller. The watch is not in working condition, and i would love to restore it to its former glory. I was going to considder sending it back to Heuer Switzerland for a complete overhaul, with strict instructions not to touch the dial, hands and case. Has anyone had any experience with the vintage dept Tag Heuer, and is it possible to have some "control" of the repair? Your comments and advice are greatly appreciated.
