Hi David, thanks for the info. That seems to concur with what Justin and I (Justin especially) have thought about these dials, in particular that the quality seems consistent with known Heuer dials.
The premise remains then, (unless I've read this wrong) that these dials were never actually placed by Heuer in a produced watch. (?)

: happened to stumble upon some stock which we believe were
: destined for the market but for some reason were not released
: either because Heuer moved all the production back at this time
: or some other reason. You are correct a lot of aftermarket hands
: are used but I have the original hands again from the
: Clockmaker. He had far less hands than dials.
