I've long hated the way that Christie's chooses to photograph their watches (every case looks softer than it is and small imperfections are "smoothed" out), but this is egregious. Expecting someone to spend $50K+ without disclosing that there are gouges on the dial is egregious. The gap just widened between Christie's and Phillips / Sotheby's...
