Heuer used generic Swiss movements made by the likes of ValJoux and others. See the link on this site for movement info:

So, for the most part, up until the caliber 11, they did not fundamentally design the functional part of their watches. Heuer may have made slight modifications to these movements but quick set date would be a pretty big mod. With the caliber 11 Heuer basically took two existing movements (or parts of movements) and blended them together into an automatic chronograph movement. However, with all of these chrono movements covering the production through the late "70s I don't think there are any multi-position crown quick setting movements. Some of these movements can be sort of quick-set by setting backwards and forwards from about 21:00-03:00.

If your watch is a TAG Heuer (after about 1982-4 it might be a quick-set by multi-position crown.
