Last week, Fratello published a nice posting about the interview of astronaut Wally Schirra, by Chuck Moddox -- https://www.fratellowatches.com/astronaut-wally-schirra-and-chuck-maddox/
For those of you who may not be familiar with the astronauts and their watches, Schirra was the first astronaut to wear an Omega Speedmaster in space. He was also the only astronaut to fly Mercury, Gemini and Apollo missions. Yes, we can say it now -- Schirra was probably Chuck's favorite astronaut!!
The interview occurred in early 2007. Schirra passed away a few months later and Chuck passed away the following year (May 2008).
Those of you who knew Chuck, and especially those who spoke to him on the phone, will enjoy hearing his voice again.
