For a different approach to watch journalism, written by a true enthusiast, read this article, by Wei Koh (about his Speedmaster addiction).

No doubt about it, Wei is one of the very best storytellers in the game . . . a pleasure to read his articles.

: I read the posting again and it still seems strange.
: Perhaps it is this writer's style, but we can read the review
: (twice) and still not know whether the writer believes that this
: is a beautiful watch, offered at an attractive price, or the
: worst looking watch he has ever seen.
: These so-called "influencers" earn the price of the
: airfare and hotel when they post the pretty photos of the
: beautiful locations and ambassadors. They can also provide the
: usual background information regarding the watches. But to share
: their impressions does not seem to be part of the assignment.
: Old-fashioned watch journalism / advertising, I believe.
