Seems like very poor results at WoK for Heuer but also for Omega and others. . .so many passed lots
I think only the very best all-original examples are safe right now. The market for middle of the road examples of nearly every brand is quite poor
: Here is our page for the auction being held by Watches of
: Knightsbridge, this Saturday, July 20 --
: http://www.onthedash.com/document/watches-of-knightsbridge-2019-july/
: There are 12 Heuers included in the sale, including the ones shown
: below.
: The Siffert has a 141xxx serial number and ridged hands, suggesting
: an early model, but the hands are for a later model.
: The early Autavia looks interesting . . . we are definitely seeing
: a lot of the thin lume hands lately.
: And what about that Rotary 45 Dato?? We don't see many Poor Man's
: chronographs in the 1960s Carrera cases. This should be
: interesting.
: Pet peeve -- Why doesn't Watches of Knightsbridge include full
: serial numbers in its catalogs? The other major auction houses
: now include the serial numbers.
