: down crown tubes are 3.23mm in the same area.
BTW--please understand Justin I'm not trying to argue with you and prove myself right. I appreciate you taking time to post here with your thoughts and expertise. I'm just hoping to confirm what the crown originally was, whether push in, or locking.
I'll ere on the side of caution and go with a stripped locking crown, and if more info comes about showing it was always a push fit crown I think that is something that can be added to the database of knowledge about these 1000 models.
