The Carrera with Valjoux 72 was introduced in 1964 . . . I would estimate that they used the Valjoux 72 through the 1960's, and switched to the 77XX movements around 1970.

I am not certain of what you are asking about the "numbers". I am not aware of any records that track the serial numbers. In terms of the number of watches that were produced, I have never seen this information.
