i've also seen several claims on the MWR board with extensive knowledge claim six digit SN was used for early 70's.
There really is a lot going on with these watches . Fairly difficult to find strong accurate and conclusive info as well. the brown-snout article is
very good but not complete as far as i can tell. No Mention of the Dials with big cutoff on 2-8-10 .
