Asked my local dealer about getting one of these about a month ago with the expectation of a long wait as their entire group of eight shops only get one a year and there was a long waiting list. Last week he returned my call and said he had one in for me to see, and I bought it on the spot. When I asked him why he was prepared to sell it to me despite the long waiting list he said they had decided they wanted it to go to a real enthusiast who would not immediately sell it at a profit! I have given them every one of my Heuers for a full factory service and allowed them to see models they had only ever read about. It pays to make friends with your local dealer.
