OK, fellas, here's something new and different, to celebrate nothing in particular.

We have all seen the contests where you guess how many jelly beans are in the jar, or how many marbles, matches, gumballs, etc. So now let's guess how many photos are included in OnTheDash.

I am including all the JPEG files on the website, so that will include photos and catalog scans, as well as the JPEGs that are used in the thumbnails and menus. I am also including the JPEGs included in the www.onthedash.com/pics file, since they are used in postings on this Discussion Forum. I am not counting the photos in the www.onthedash.com/host file, since they may be temporary, and I am not including GIF or BMP files.

The estimate, posted on this Discussion Forum, coming closest to the actual number wins two pounds of M&M's, plain or peanut, shipped anywhere in the world. Contest ends when we decide we've had enough of it. Code of Honor suggests no use of special software, small children or outsourced service providers.
