Maybe I'm missing something, Mark, but for your first Carrera I'd go for a different one than this. I'd spend up for the more well recognized models with round sub dials.
You do see that there is no lum on the hands don't you. You can see the subdials through the hands in several pictures.
Keep looking as that is half the battle. (The other half in case you hadn't figured out is hiding your spending habits from the misses. LOL)
