Re: Vintage Watch Market -- Thriving or Struggling?

I have two big ebay seller friends. One has just over 35,000 sales and one has just about 12,500. The smaller seller sells almost all watches while the larger seller sells jewelry too but a huge amount of watches.

Both report that sales are very good right now. They attribute it to the fact that lots of buyers have time on their hands and are looking at eBay a lot. Neither of these guys are in the upper atmosphere of watch dealers. They both sell a lot of $100-500 watches but both also sell a lot of $5000-15000 stuff. Both occasionally sell higher end watches but probably not so much on the Bay.
