Re: I Would Buy the Blue One
In Response To: I Would Buy the Blue One ()

Adam asked me to photoshop the markers yesterday so here we go.

I also placed it in a 39mm case (photo credit to Hodinkee). Looks almost exactly like the CV2111. I hesitated putting the new dial in a 39mm because I really think they're doing a great job with the 160 anniv. heritage tributes this year -- but always fun to dissect and discuss.

: Assuming that the case were cleaned up a little, and the size
: reduced to around 40 mm (which is the size of the Carrera Heuer
: that I bought in 2010), I would buy the blue one.

: I would be happy to have the black one, but already have enough
: black chronographs in my collection; I would want to see the
: green one in the metal, before making a decision; the white one
: just does not look right to me, so I would "pass" on
: that one.

: Regarding the black, blue and green models -- While I was playing
: with the Photoshop, I would lighten up the markers . . . they
: look too fat / heavy, with the bezel removed.
