The New Fragment Formula 1 (and Some Old Autavias)

I thought that some of the vintage Heuer enthusiasts might like to see the new Fragment Design Formula 1 chronograph, side-by-side with a couple of the original Autavias, from the 1970s / 80s.

See more of these photos, and my impressions of the watch in this posting -- http://www.onthedash.com/fragment-formula-1-interview/

Yes, I'm a fan of the Fragment Formula 1 . . . love the way the defining elements of the Autavia have been incorporated into the new Formula 1. To my way of thinking, this is the way a modern brand should use its vintage portfolio to design great new watches. Yes, just like Breitling, Omega and Tudor have been doing.
