Advice for Servicing a 1965 Heuer Carrera

Hi everyone, I'd appreciate some advice or references for servicing a 1965 Heuer Carrera. I just inherited it from my father, who bought it new. It's in very good shape overall but needs a comprehensive service and cleaning. I am a little reluctant to ship it to TAG Heuer's classic watch maintenance in Switzerland, in part because of the very tiny amount of insurance for loss or damage that they are offering. I am planning to use this watch, not sell it, but I know it's pretty valuable and would like to do right by it and also make sure I don't do anything that would make it depreciate. Any ideas for where the watch should go for first-rate, reliable servicing? Thanks!
