Added to OnTheDash, this Heuer Reference 2406 N . . . dating from around 1943.
The Reference 2406 is powered by the Landeron 13 movement, with a waterproof case (screw-back and round pushers).
The earlier waterproof cases, like this one, have two notches in the case-back; the later ones used polygon-shaped case-backs.
Love this style case-back with the concentric circles, showing the watch’s selling points in German and French – waterproof; shockproof; and anti-magnetic. Notice the smaller "flat" Heuer logo; the larger logo would come circa 1945.
