Re: Carrera 3647n Long vs Short Chrono hand

: Hi there, currently on the lookout for a good unpolished Carrera
: 3647n, and at least 50% I'm seeing for sale have the longer tail
: chrono hands seen on later models like the Camaro. As far as I
: know the 1dt execution Carreras all had the short-tail hands
: (designed probably to not overlap the hour subdial on the 2447)
: If they are there, I'm pretty sure these would be replacement
: service hands. Does anyone know for sure? Just looking to make
: sure what ever I get is correct. Thanks! David
I believe what you are saying to be correct, first ex carrera's should all be short tail.
