So What Recommendation for "Normal", Everyday Lens
In Response To: Welcome to the big leagues. ()

Jim:

I had been thinking of buying the D70 this week. What is the recommendation on the "normal", everyday lens? I hear that the one that comes with the kit is nothing special, and some folks are recommending a Tamron zoom [I forget which one].

so what would you do if you wanted to buy a D70, in the near term, and wanted the initial purchase (with lens) to price out in the Autavia / Carrera range?

Thanks,

Jeff
