unfortunately for who may be BAMA and War Eagle fans, this was the SEC Championship Game, featuring the top team in the East (Georgia) against the top team in the West (LSU). while many of us recognize that both Bama and Auburn are better than the LSU Tigers, both Bama and Auburn had the misfortune of losing to LSU. so they invited LSU to represent the West.

it sure would have been nice to watch Auburn beat those Bulldogs again, or to see Bama get a shot at them, but those sending out the invitations for the Championship Game went with LSU.

you got to admit, Uga VI is one fine looking mascot!!
