Thank all of you for your comments regarding the pix of the Rolex chronograph I posted on 12/11/05 under "Manual wind Prefered *PIC*". I agree with you that the newer Rolexes are not so appealing and I too have no desire to own one. There is much similarity to what has evolved with Heuer (TAG) and Breitling. The older ones are so appealing while the later are rather gaudy.

I have attached an additional pic with a scan of the original bill. As you can see the original price was $200 but was raised to $215 by the time I received it.

As I mentioned before the only advantage of older age is that we have a little headstart on acquiring the artifacts that attract the human male.
