I Like the Optimistic Retailers

I like the retailers . . . I mean, they invest in inventory, pay the rent to be in a nice location, hire the very helpful staff, and let us look at so many nice watches, in the metal.

so let them be a shade optimistic on the pricing. who knows . . . maybe a tourist walks into the store; is feeling good; wants to impress his companion; loves the watch; has a wallet full of cash; and the next thing you know, he has paid $5K for the thing, including local sales tax!!

for me, the late night snipe on ebay is more enjoyable, but both the retailer and the tourist may have a different perspective!!
