File a claims with your State Attorney General Office, State Department of Insurance, and Consumer Affairs office.

UPS is essentially washing its hands of it and has a duty to make you whole since its charging insurance premiums. Its counting on folks like u to say forget it, i dont want the headache. Give the headache to UPS Legal team when the regulator sends them the complaint, You will have a check in 10 days.

Most states have web sites, with cut/paste dialog boxes, that u can put in the story. I know it sounds like a long shot, but I extracted $1500 with help of such regulators for 5 minutes of google & cut/paste
