New Aquaracer Chronograph facelift? Posted By: Gauss Date: 2/16/06 13:28 GMT

Hello community,

Hello Gauss

I am in the process of buying my first TagHeuer watch, the Aquaracer Chronograph Quartz.

Ok... Premature Congratulations...

What are your opinions/reasons for going with the Quartz as opposed to an Automatic movement?

In a couple of months (April) there will be the BASELWORLD exposition,

Some annouuncements leak out the last week of March.

and I wanted to know how probable it were, that TAGHEUER were to release a new facelifted model of the Aquaracer watch.

I really don't have any solid data and or statistics to offer other than it would seem likely that TAG-Heuer would have something new to announce, and the Aquaracer might be a good candidate for expansion if nothing else.

Does anyone know whether TAGHEUER announces facelifts that fast? I reckon the Aquaracer is out for only a year or so.

I wouldn't think so... I think you'd be more likely to see additional color options for the dial, more than anything.

I would hate to buy the watch now and see a new facelift in about 5 months time.

Wait a couple weeks then... Wait until after Basel and see what happens... I mean you can wait a couple of months forever, but with Basel just 5 or 6 weeks away, it might be prudent to hold off just a bit.

Thx

Regards

Gauss

Hope this helps!
