thanks for your message, and congratulations on this great find. let me provide some basic information.

It's difficult to say what makes these so old Heuers so special.

• Many believe that the design of the early Master Times is particularly beautiful / classic / timeless (maybe like a 1950's Rolex Explorer);
• they were well-built, reliable instruments;
• used for an interesting / glamorous purpose (automobile races / rallies);
• because they were used (and often abused), samples in good condition have become scarce
• people restoring old race cars will often pay big money for these dashboard timers, as the finishing touch on a restoration

Throw all that information in a bag, shake it up, swing it around your head, and we get a value in the $1800 to $2000 range (if it is really unused / mint).

If the papers say Heuer "Timer" Corp, rather than Heuer "Time" Corp., then we know that this one dates from before around 1964 (when this name change occured). Photos of the dial / movement would allow us to provide a more exact date.
