Monaco's are getting real expensive.........

i have been looking for several Monaco's last months, it wasn't easy to find a decent example for a fair price. I have seen several, bought one with a wrong dial and finally bought a manual wind with blue dial and in super condition. I think the prices of Monaco's are higher than mentioned in the price guide. I will pay more for a very nice one with a recent serviced movement and in a very good condtion. For instance, i bought an Autavia Viceroy for a relative low price, after i received the watch it didn't run very well so i gave it to my watchmaker for service. I will get it back this week but it has become a very expensive Heuer Autavia, if i had paid a little more for a very nice example.........

cheers,
juko
