Yes, Heuer is/was a smaller firm than Omega. The analogy is sort of like how Ford Motor is a smaller corporate entity than General Motors... Ford is: Ford/Mercury/Lincoln/Ford Trucks, GM is: Saturn, Chevy, Pontiac, Buick, Oldsmobile, Cadilac, Chevy Truck, GMC, etc. before you consider foreign firms either firm's bought out... So Omega (like GM) is bigger than Heuer/TAG-Heuer (Ford) even though they run in the same circles...

Not a perfect analogy, but...
